I went for lunch with a couple friends and the service was great. Everyone was so nice and respectful. The food came out quick and was absolutely top tier. I recommend the butter chicken for sure! Will be visiting again soon.
Great buffet for a decent price great customer service
I recently had dinner at Mehran Restaurant, and it was fantastic! The food was bursting with flavor—especially the biryani and nihari, which were both perfectly spiced. The portions were big enough to leave me full but still craving more. The staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. If you’re into authentic Pakistani and Indian food, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!
OMG, 1st off, the palak lamb, goat biryani, & garlic naan are my favorite! 2nd off, the food is always fresh, flavorful, & amazing. Thirdly, I have lived near here 17 yr & have NEVER had a bad experience with food or service from these beautiful people. Fourthly, their portions are generous, they will gladly help you order by describing each meal, they are patient as ever, and more kind than you could EVER imagine. Once, I brought my selective eater preteen & they offered to remake her food if she was unhappy. And tonight, I brought a friend who fears spicy food & they made the same offer. I cannot say enough positive about Mehran. I am grateful they have sustained their business through recessions, the 2021 pandemic, & our current day instability. They are precious.
Yummy Indian Food! Located in a small strip mall that doesn't look like much, but the restaurant is clean & nicely set up for the lunch buffet. I went for their lunch buffet (served 11am-3pm) Very Reasonably priced at under 20. I'm vegetarian & they had one half of the buffet with 4 main vegetarian dishes & the other half with meat varieties. They also had Samosas, Rice, Fresh Salad & Mixed Fruit, Delicious Dessert(Rice Pudding-The day I went) 2 different chutneys & Raita, self serve Chai & the server brings fresh made Naan to the table. The manager/server is super kind & friendly. Looking forward to going again!
We celebrated the graduation party recently and catered food from Mehran Restaurant. It was honestly a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and we got so many compliments from our guests throughout the evening. Working with Nathan made the whole process super smooth. He was great to deal with and very professional, friendly, and made sure everything was delivered just as promised. The food arrived right on time, was set up nicely, and the quality really stood out. We had over 120 people at the party, and everyone was asking who catered the food. That says a lot! The service team did a wonderful job too. I would definitely recommend Mehran for any event. Huge thanks to Nathan and the team for helping make the celebration such a success!

My husband and I have been wanting to try this place for the buffet and we finally made it! We have heard this is the best Indian-Pakistani food in East Contra Costa County, and now we know it's true. We did not make it in time for the buffet, that ends at 3pm, but that didn't matter because we ordered several dishes and shared it all. Delish!!! Some dishes were spicy (which I love), some were more savory or slightly sweet. We had plenty of leftovers because the portions were large. I also love the location because we can meet friends from over the hill right in the middle. Plenty of parking, and a good neighborhood and area. We also found out they have an event center for parties and they serve American food as well. I have to mention our waiter had the best personality and we learned so much just chatting with him. What a wonderful experience! I can't wait to go back.
